How do I determine the belt I need?
To measure the total length of your belt without removing it:
a) take a paper or flexible measuring tape and a piece of adhesive tape
b) attach the tape on the belt near the rear roller
c) measure the length up to the engine crankcase and use another piece of scotch tape to mark until where you have measured
d) manually rotate the belt and measure the total length until you return to the first piece of tape.
Otherwise, gently cut the worn belt with a cutter, spread it out completely and measure its width and total length.
USE TIPS:
Each time the band is replaced, it is necessary to check the deck status. A deck in poor condition can deteriorate the belt more quickly.
Remember that the belts need regular maintenance (tension, centering, etc.), as well as constant lubrication. The quantity and frequency of lubrication depends on the use of the belt, the position of the center, the type of lubrication…
We recommend using silicone spray oil.
